Frequently Asked Questions
1. Why do I need to have my request to join approved before I can register my child for classes?
We require registration to include communication with our instructor. This is because we want to ensure that every student gets the best possible experience. We verify that students are in the appropriate age ranges and that parents are aware of the weekly class schedule.
2. Can I observe my child's classes?
Absolutely! We love having parents involved in their children's education and encourage them to observe classes. Parents are more than welcome to bring snack and chat quietly with each other, just remember to be mindful of the class in session and avoid causing distractions.
3. Can I drop my child off during their lessons?
Parents are welcome to drop off their children for class without staying. Please note that there is a 10-minute window before and after class for pickup and drop off. We kindly ask that you arrive on time to ensure a smooth transition for all.
4. Are Art Supplies Included In Registration?
We will provide the basic art supplies of lightweight paper, graphite pencils, and watercolor paints/paintbrushes to be used in class. Other optional supplies will be the parent's responsibility to purchase.
Please note that students in the Advanced class will have lessons tailored to their interests which may include art material that we do not provide. We will reach out to parents about the materials recommended for those students, and parents may make the decision with their child about what to do.
5. Where are classes held?
These are in home classes based out of Kaysville, UT. The exact location will be available for registered students.
